Pensando en c\u00f3mo puede contribuir la ordenaci\u00f3n del territorio a la necesaria transici\u00f3n que supere el modelo extractivista, surgi\u00f3 la investigaci\u00f3n que se presenta en el art\u00edculo:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/370492153_The_role_of_ecosystem_services_in_the_design_of_agroecological_transitions_in_Spain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><mark><em>The role of ecosystem services in the design of agroecological transitions in Spain<\/em><\/mark><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"616\" width=\"1024\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blogs.upm.es\/urbanismoagroecologico\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1061\/2023\/05\/ECOSER_2019_333_graphAbstract-1024x616.png?resize=1024%2C616&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Fig 1. Resumen gr\u00e1fico del art\u00edculo<\/sup><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La agroecolog\u00eda incorpora los principios ecol\u00f3gicos en el dise\u00f1o y manejo de los agrosistemas, se adapta a los recursos locales, cierra los ciclos de la biomasa y los nutrientes y potencia la actividad biol\u00f3gica del suelo, as\u00ed como su conservaci\u00f3n y regeneraci\u00f3n. Todo ello acompa\u00f1ado de relaciones justas. Si se quiere impulsar una transici\u00f3n agroecol\u00f3gica \u00bfhay territorios que re\u00fanen mejores condiciones para ello?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es un paso m\u00e1s en la l\u00ednea que iniciamos hace pr\u00e1cticamente una d\u00e9cada sobre&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vps181.cesvima.upm.es\/urb-sis-agra\/paec-sp\/2012-2014-paec-sp\/\">integraci\u00f3n de los SSEE en el planeamiento (PAEC-Sp)<\/a>. Utilizando bases de datos de acceso libre se ha realizado un an\u00e1lisis espacial de criterios utilizando MapAlgebra en QGIS, aplicando la Clasificaci\u00f3n Internacional Com\u00fan de los Servicios de los Ecosistemas, cuya versi\u00f3n 5.1&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cices.eu\/\">(CICES 5.1)<\/a>. Esta vez, exploramos la conceptualizaci\u00f3n de arquetipos para identificar qu\u00e9 zonas cumplen mejor con una transici\u00f3n agroecol\u00f3gica que conlleva el&nbsp;<strong>reequilibrio de los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos de aprovisionamiento, regulaci\u00f3n y cultura.<\/strong>&nbsp;Nos ha permitido evaluar la mejora de los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos en Espa\u00f1a guiados por u<strong>na planificaci\u00f3n regional que sea plenamente consciente de la cadena alimentaria y garantice una gesti\u00f3n de los recursos respetuosa con los procesos ecol\u00f3gicos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfD\u00f3nde nos lleva incorporar los servicios de los ecosistemas en la ordenaci\u00f3n del territorio con objetivos de transici\u00f3n agroecol\u00f3gica?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Podemos perseguir un futuro m\u00e1s resiliente y sostenible si tanto la agricultura como el sistema alimentario evolucionan impulsados por un nuevo modelo basado en la agroecolog\u00eda. Planteamos tres estrategias principales:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Priorizar las pol\u00edticas de&nbsp;<strong>desintensificaci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola<\/strong>&nbsp;en \u00e1reas con un pobre desempe\u00f1o de los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos tanto en lo que se refiere a la provisi\u00f3n de alimentos (baja producci\u00f3n) como a un impacto negativo en los servicios de regulaci\u00f3n (sobreexplotaci\u00f3n de acu\u00edferos, contaminaci\u00f3n, erosi\u00f3n de suelos). Abarca 3,3 millones de ha<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proporcionar apoyo p\u00fablico para una&nbsp;<strong>transici\u00f3n agroecol\u00f3gica entrelazada con la relocalizaci\u00f3n de los sistemas alimentarios<\/strong>&nbsp;en \u00e1reas periurbanas y rurales bien adaptadas en cuanto a los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos de provisi\u00f3n de alimentaci\u00f3n. La estrategia se orienta adem\u00e1s a reforzar sus funciones relativas a la retenci\u00f3n del suelo y los servicios de regulaci\u00f3n de la calidad de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas (13,6 millones de ha);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promover&nbsp;<strong>zonas periurbanas&nbsp;<\/strong>con potencial como espacios de experiencia&nbsp;<strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/enoll.org\/\">Living Labs<\/a>) agroecol\u00f3gicos o ecol\u00f3gicos<\/strong>, correspondiendo estos \u00faltimos a zonas no aptas para la producci\u00f3n de alimentos que se incorporan a procesos de regeneraci\u00f3n de ecosistemas semi-naturales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blogs.upm.es\/urbanismoagroecologico\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1061\/2023\/05\/SimonRojo.23_estrategias.jpg?resize=640%2C508&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-90\" width=\"640\" height=\"508\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Fig 2.
